Install

Five minutes once. Thirty seconds after that.

StowPro ships flat with the legs unassembled. You bolt the legs on one time, and from then on it goes on and off with two pins.

  1. Step one

    Bolt on the legs

    Attach the two legs to the deck with the included stainless hardware and wrench. Under five minutes, and you never do it again. The legs stay bolted from here on.

  2. Step two

    Drop it in

    Lift out the rear seat and set StowPro down in its place. The same tabs that held your seat to the cart slide straight into the front of the deck.

  3. Step three

    Pin it down

    Two stainless quick-release pins lock the front and you are done. Thirty seconds, no tools, every time after the first.

So where does the rear seat go?

It rides with you. The front of StowPro has slots built for it, so the seat clips onto the deck instead of living in your garage. On the Rover XL you keep both front seats. On the Rover XXL you keep all four, two up front and two in the middle row.

In the box: the deck, two legs, all stainless hardware, two quick-release pins, printed instructions and the assembly wrench. The printed guide also calls for a 9/16 inch wrench, a #2 Phillips screwdriver and an 8 mm wrench for the pin lanyards.

Your rear seat must face forward. StowPro takes the place of a forward-facing rear seat, so a Denago whose second row faces backward and flips over is not compatible.
