- Built‑to‑order or pre‑order items may have longer lead times; any extended processing times will be noted on the product page or during checkout.

Order tracking

- Tracking updates are managed by the carrier and may take up to 24–48 hours to reflect movement after you receive your tracking number.
Shipping destinations
- We currently ship within the United States (and any additional regions we list at checkout).
- Any restrictions or surcharges for certain locations (such as Alaska, Hawaii, or remote areas) will be shown at checkout before you complete your order.
Delivery issues (lost, damaged, or stolen packages)
- If your order arrives damaged, keep all packaging and product materials and contact us as soon as possible with photos of the product and packaging so we can help file a claim with the carrier.
- If tracking shows “delivered” but you have not received your package, please first check with neighbors, household members, and your local carrier office; if the package still cannot be located, contact us so we can review options with you and the carrier.
- While we will assist with carrier investigations, final resolution for lost or stolen packages may depend on the carrier’s policies and the outcome of their claim process.
Incorrect or undeliverable addresses
- Please double‑check your shipping address at checkout. Orders returned to us as undeliverable due to incorrect or incomplete addresses may be reshipped at your expense or refunded minus original shipping charges.
Returns & Exchanges

Return window
- Eligible items may be returned within 30 days of the delivery date, as shown on the carrier’s tracking, unless a different return window is stated on the product page.
- After 30 days, returns may be declined or subject to additional review at our discretion.
Return eligibility
Unless otherwise noted as “final sale” or “non‑returnable” on the product page, items are generally eligible for return if they meet all of the following conditions:
- New, unused, and uninstalled condition (no signs of wear, installation, or modification).
- All original packaging, hardware, accessories, and documentation are included.
- The product is not a custom‑built, personalized, or special‑order item clearly marked as non‑returnable at the time of purchase.
We reserve the right to inspect all returned items and to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.
How to start a return
To start a return or exchange:
- Contact us at support@bairdbuilt.com with your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return.
- We will reply with instructions, which may include a return authorization, return address, and details on whether a prepaid label is available for your order.
Do not send items back without first contacting us; unapproved returns may be delayed or refused.
Return shipping costs
- Unless the return is due to our error (wrong item, manufacturing defect, etc.), the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
- If we provide a prepaid return label, we may deduct the cost of that label from your refund amount once the return is processed.
Condition & packaging for returns
- Whenever possible, ship items back in the original packaging and over‑box the product to protect the manufacturer’s packaging from damage in transit.
- Items that are returned damaged, missing components, or otherwise not in resellable condition may be refused or subject to a restocking fee.
Restocking fees
- We do not typically charge restocking fees for qualifying returns within the standard return window in new, unused condition.
- For items that show signs of use, installation, damage, or are missing parts, we may charge a reasonable restocking fee or offer a partial refund at our discretion.
Refunds
- Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you by email whether your refund has been approved.
- Approved refunds are typically issued to the original method of payment within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
- Original shipping charges are generally non‑refundable, except where the return is due to our error or a covered defect.
Exchanges

- In many cases, the fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to complete a new purchase and then return the original item following the process above.
Damaged, defective, or incorrect items
If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, contact us as soon as possible and include:
- Your order number.
- Photos of the product, packaging, and any visible damage.
Once verified, we will work with you to repair, replace, or refund the item in line with our warranty and 105% Money‑Back Guarantee, where applicable.
Non‑returnable items
